Mashhad Meeting January 2019

Introduction

The preparatory workshop in Iran had been anticipated as a 3-day preliminary workshop in the city of Mashhad to help the participants of the ToT workshop get familiar with the different aspects of the project and get ready to approach the ToT workshop in Italy.

The objects of the preparatory workshop were that participants:

1.become familiar, in more detail, with the project goals and activities, as well as with what is expected of them;

2.get better acquainted with each other and with the project team;

3.receive part of the training anticipated in the ToT programme;

4.discuss the knowledge resources prepared by the Italian experts; and

5.come to collective agreements on how to approach the workshop in Italy.

The workshop was carried out from 23rd to 25th January 2019 in Mashhad and 13 members of the ToT group were present there.

Outputs and results

Expectations of the participants

On the second day of the workshop, a card collection activity was carried out to understand the participants’ expectations from the project and to discuss the responsible persons and groups for each expectation cluster. Each participant wrote his/her two most important expectations on the cards, and then, all the cards were categorized based on their similarities. The table below shows the expectations of the participants.
